Hop Nation are out our long time neighbours, collaborators and good friends. It’s a story as old as time, a couple of winemakers in NZ start making homebrew for fun on the side and 5 years later they’re opening a brewery in Footscray.
The Eggers Double IPA is Hop Nations fourth Double IPA, named after the Eggers family who are some of the oldest hop growers in New Zealand. Eggers is all hop focus, dry hopped with Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic Cryo. Carried through by a simple but solid malt bill – Big juicy citrus with grapefruit, some tropical notes, mostly passionfruit and a touch of herbal bitterness to finish it all off.
