This is one of the most memorable white wines I’ve tasted in many months. As with the Épiphénomène Celeste, my notes begin simply with ‘Brilliant..’ In Les Rhizomes, the texture is also relaxed and there here too you have a faint and appealing aromatic suggestion of lees. The two varieties provide a fairly savoury fruit profile and the palate is exceptionally long. This is deeply impressive. For me, there is a subtle kiss of phenolic presence on the palate which of course sits beautifully with the minerality. Incredible quality here. – Campbell Burton
