The Single Malts of Scotland Reserve Casks are a flavor-led exploration of fine Single Malts, bottled in small batches of three to ten casks. Each parcel of bottles shows the variety of styles and flavors found across Scotland, and the differences in angel’s share depending on region.
Distilled at an ‘undisclosed’ distillery on Orkney in 2008 and matured in cask for 13 years then bottled in 2022. There’s not many distilleries on Orkney, so you can have a guess where it was distilled. Of the four casks used to produce Parcel No.8, 2 sherry butts and 2 ex-bourbon barrels. This is a full, luscious Whisky with elements of fresh mint and touches of smoke.
