Based out of Auckland, NZ, Small Gods are a brewery dedicated to collaborative, historical and experimental brewing. Small Gods aim to brew historical styles to bring to light the weird, wonderful & rare styles that are often left on the wayside in todays intensely modern brewing scene.
This modern take on the traditional Best Bitter brings modern British hops to the fore. We took a rich and biscuity malt base and laid down an assertive bittering addition of Admiral hops. This classic base was married with dry hop additions of newcomers First Gold and Harlequin to add notes of tangerine, marmalade and passionfruit. – Notes from Small Gods Brewing.
