A combination of Flinders Island coastal peated malt and Scottish peated malt makes up the mash bill in this inimitable whisky. Matured in 50l American Oak ex-Bourbon casks for over 3 years.
Briney, warm savoury biscuits on the nose. Bright, but soft on the front palate with barley sugar and a light, melon-y note. Bold and sweet on the finish, earthy peat with hints of floral and medicinal notes. Beautifully balanced, light, salty and moreish. – Furneaux
