A relative newcomer on the scene having launched their first beer just under a year ago now, Boomcat brewing are a based in the outer Melbourne suburb of Ferntree Gully at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges. This traditional english style ale has been made with a solid malt backbone giving it a distinct amber hue. The hop additions and high ester english yeast used offer up a jammy and fruity characteristic that plays nicely off the toffee like notes from the malt.
