A blend of 85% Dolcetto, 10% Saperavi and 5% Sangiovese Rosé all from the Corsini Vineyards in King Valley.
The Dolcetto spent 2 days on skins and was then fermented in a combination of old oak and stainless steel tanks. After fermentation all wine was racked off, blended together in tank and aged for 8 months. The Saperavi is actually from 2022. Left on skins for 2 weeks then spent 18 months ageing in steel tanks. The Sang rosé was direct pressed to tank for fermentation and then ageing for 8 months.
The result is a super slurpable, chillable light & bright red. Bright aromas & flavours of red fruit confectionary. Raspberry roll ups/red frogs, crunchy red apple, cherry, subtle sweet baking spices.
Proper Vin de Soif / Glou Glou / Slurpy Durpy. Big Yum!!!
