Street Walking Cheetah is the side project of Lawrence Scanlon who is 1 half of Dirty Black Denim.

His aim is to make wines that should be drunk from a mug or tumbler in a park with your mates. All wines are made without any additions other than a small amount of sulphur when necessary. He sources fruit from multiple regions across Victoria, with a focus on terroir expression and alternate The 2022 Rosso is made from fruit from the Corsini vineyard in the King Valley which sits on volcanic red soil over clay. Each grape was fermented separately then blended after primary fermentation. The Dolcetto had 4 days maceration in tank. The Barbera had 2 weeks maceration in open pots. The Sangiovese had 3 weeks maceration in open pots. The Syrah was direct pressed as rosé and fermented in tank. After blending the wines spent 12 months in neutral barriques. Medium bodied, red fruited and on the savoury side. Crunchy with some subtle herbal notes. Classic Italian village red vibes here. Good drinking by itself or great with a tasty plate of pasta or a slice of pizza!
