We call this one The Heathcote Red – a delicious blend of Syrah and Grenache, with a touch of Mourvèdre, sourced from top and tail vineyards of Merindoc in Heathcote.
The Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre blend is deep garnet red with bright ruby edges. A mixture of red and black fruits on the nose, with background herbal and allspice notes. The palate is initially soft and supple, with a core of black fruit and spice, before transitioning to a dry, savoury finish. – The Lost Plot
