This wild farmhouse ale is the first blend from Two Metre Tall’s solera barrel of spontaneously fermented ale started in early 2019. Brewed with 100% Tasmanian grown and malted barley, as well as unmalted spelt. This beer has been soured with the naturally occurring microorganisms present on the raw spelt before being hopped with whole cone Ella, Willamette & Galaxy hops which were all grown in the Derwent Valley. The resulting beer is delicate, aromatic and wonderfully complex with a full body and bright acid profile.
