Caution To The Wind is a brand new California style DIPA brewed in collaboration with our good buds from across the ditch, Garage Project. We’ve flipped everything we thought we knew about this style on it’s head and tried something so different that we genuinely weren’t sure if Pete was taking the piss or not when he suggested it. We’ve made some significant changes to the way we dry-hopped the beer and to say we are stoked on the results would be a severe understatement. Naturally we lent heavily into the NZ hop varieties with Nelson Sauvin and Rakau featuring the most, with a backbone hit of Mosaic and Chinook for a touch of West Coast tradition. Aromatically this beer is a powerhouse. Bold hits of berries, peach and lychee, with just a kiss of kiwi dank if you’re looking for it. Take a sip of this crystal clear nectar and you’ll be met with vibrant and punchy notes of gooseberry, apricot, lychee, berry medley and a fantastic and lingering sticky NZ resin. The finish of each sip brings through a saturating hop blanket and a stunning depth of flavour which highlights perfectly the intense freshness that these hops are showcasing. – Range Brewing
