100% Grenache from very old bush vines (70-90 years) on the slopes of the Cabrières plateau in the north-west of the appellation. A terroir of deep sand and clay covered with round river stones. The wine is aged for 18 months in Nomblot concrete eggs, giving a freshness and directness to the layers of deep cherry fruit. Showing the magnificent terroir without any oak to obscure the Grenache, this is a revelation for Chateauneuf and a sign of things to come. – Distributor Lo-Fi Wines
