Compagnie Des Indes started as an import company in France, with their aim to pick up the mantle of the East India Company and hand select the best quality rums from all over the world and import them to Europe. They have curated a long product list of predominantly single cask rums with a few special blends, from the likes of Jamaica, Fiji and even Australia.
This bottling is of an 8 year old rum from Beenleigh in Queensland, Australia’s oldest distillery.
Strong notes of pear, white flowers, and raspberry with a touch of oxidation and currant flavours on the palate. Nice balance of tart fruits to finish.
