Brewed in 2020 and aged for 12 months in heavily charred first fill American oak rye whisky barrels ex Gospel (Brunswick) to commemorate mid-winter 2021.
An intentionally convoluted brew day featuring three brewers, “reiterated mashing”, heavily peated distilling malt, brewing sugars and an extended boil resulted in a big dumb beer that was aged for twelve months in first-fill American oak straight rye whisky barrels.
