Gemischtersatz is a category of dry, refreshing white wine grown around Vienna in Austria. The Austrian wine contains as many as ten or eleven varieties as a field blend, which is intended to mitigate viticultural risk. Our 2025 boasts four varieties: Pinot gris, Riesling, Sauvignon blanc & Sylvaner and is from several upper King Valley sites. It’s a refreshing, dry and crisp wine, in which we hope we’ve respected the traditional style. – VS&B Wines
