Fan favourite, our Prêt-à-Rouge has always intended to communicate something of the intrinsic nature of Beechworth’s recognised red wine structure, in an accessible, earlier drinking frame. We’ve always worked hard to over deliver on succulence and approachability whilst still boasting classic Beechworth structure and savoury length in this wine.
This is a blend of Beechworth Shiraz (50%), Pinot Noir (40%), and Sangiovese (10%) from vineyards under uncertified organic management. 2023 was a very cool vintage, so this wine is delicate, and a little subdued. Layers of red-fruited enjoyment, savoury complexity and satisfying structure to length. Think macerated strawberry, blueberry, cherry, and a crinkle of oregano herbage. – VS&B Wines
