It’s GRINO! – Poderi Cellario
Grino is a mythological figure, but in some dialects of central Italy it is used to indicate two diametrically opposed things: a person of very high or very low “value”. In short, a “phenomenon”!
It is an extravagant and controversial wine obtained from spontaneous fermentation with maceration of 3-5 days, not clarified and refined in cement tanks for 8 months.
The color slightly more than pink gives it character. Spices and fruit prevail on the nose. The mouth starts off round and ends with a nice final tannin. Offered in the fun one-liter white bottle.
