The etymology of its name is inspired by a distant era in which, in the properties of wealthy Roman landowners in Matelica, the presence of “vineyard lands”, that is dedicated to the cultivation of vines. Terravignata is characterized by its verticality, supported by an acidic note and the freshness of a young wine: the grapes, which allow us to obtain this result, come in fact from a vineyard facing west and they are harvested at a low degree of ripeness. – Borgo Paglianetto
