The Suriol family have been in the Penedès region since the 1600s, traditionally being kept as mixed agriculture they have slowly been converted to vineyards. The current head wine maker, Assis Suriol, is the 17th generation to care for the properties. The grapes used in this wine come from some of their own crop and different certified organic farmers that the Suriol family works with in the immediate area.
“Brisa” means pomace in Catalan, hence “Brisat” is the traditional term for skin contact wines in the Penedés area. Textural, spices, and fruit alongside aromatic, clean and refreshing body and crisp finish. With some lingering citrus, honey, almond, herbs, lychee, and orange flowers.
