Originally from the foothills of the French Jura region, Etienne graduated with a Masters in Oenology at ISARA Lyon, France. His vineyard and winemaking skills were planted during his time working in Sauternes, France, where his respect for the importance of the vineyard was cemented.
His passion for winemaking has taken him around the world, working in countries such as South Africa, Canada, America, South Korea and finally Australia, where he migrated permanently in 2010.
His philosophy with winemaking is simple. The wine should reflect its place, with little intervention from the vineyard to the bottle.
Cuvée Câlin is a blend of Mt Macedon Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
A well balanced, aromatic, sparkling, which gives you fresh minerality, with some light berry fruit flavours.
