Chianti Trambusti was founded in 1934 by Orlando Trambusti, a wine lover and connoisseur who decided to turn his own natural vocation into a profession.
Trambusti’s Poggio ai Mandorli Estate is a property covering over 52 hectares, at an altitude of 350 metres above sea level, in an area running through the heart of the Chianti Classico territory, near Strada in Chianti not far from Greve. 20 hectares of Sangiovese, Merlot and Syrah vineyards, trained using the spurred cordon method. 20 hectares of olive groves, with over 2000 Frantoio, Leccino and Moraiolo trees, some of which are over 100 years old, produce a highly prestigious extra virgin olive oil.
The 2021 Chianti is a stunning wine, produced in a unique, remarkable area generally recognised as Italy’s largest DOCG territory. It has a very classic Chianti aroma and a balanced, fresh and dry flavour. Bright ruby red in colour, it has an intense and persistent bouquet. A very impressive wine for a very affordable price.
