Jean-Pierre Robinot and his wife have become legends in Paris wine bars and around the world. Starting out with opening one of the first natural wine bars in Paris, then buying a vineyard, where they now live and work. All their wines are made with minimal intervention, allowing them to ferment naturally and age until they’re absolutely ready (sometimes up to five years).

Pineau d’Aunis (also known as chenin noir), is a native grape from the Loire Valley and rarely found outside of that region. The Le Regard whole bunch fermented then aged in fibreglass tanks for about 9 months. Like the Lumière des Sens it is showing the characteristics typical of Pineau d’Aunis, with spice notes of white pepper, cloves, star anise up front and some herbal bitterness characters at the end. A complex, yet light and drinkable wine.
