Jean-Pierre Robinot and his wife Noella have become legends in Paris wine bars and around the world. Starting out with opening one of the first natural wine bars in Paris, then buying a vineyard, where they now live and work. All their wines are made with minimal intervention, allowing them to ferment naturally and age until they’re absolutely ready (sometimes up to five years).
Jean-Pierre’s ‘Charme’ vineyard is over 40 years old, and has been under his care for over a decade now. 100% Chenin Blanc, matured in old oak barrels. Leaving the wine free from over-powering vanilla flavours while allowing a little oxygen to still reach the wine, giving it beautiful age-ability (fifty years or more).
