Anomaly is a beer born out of a mutual love of farmhouse beers and pilsners. We have been wanting to do a collaboration with Casey at Sobremesa for some time, and had been coming back and forth with a few ideas but when a barrel fermented, farmhouse pilsner came up we knew it was the one. Made with floor malted pilsner malt, Czech and munich lager yeast alongside a hop blend of Saaz, Hallertau Mittlefruh & Tettnang before being fermented in a single, hand chosen puncheon where it has picked up a mild funk from the microbes in the barrel. After fermentation in barrel and can conditioning it was moved to the Mr West cellar to lager in pack for 8 weeks.
