Esker is a golden plum cider from 2021 who lived in clay for 4 months and aged on Muscat skins for a few weeks after that.
You’re not supposed to pick a favourite child, but Muscat is definitely one of ours. (Don’t tell the other fruits please).
Esker has the sweet aromas of watermelon and grapefruit we’ve come to expect from our Muscat, with an acidic lift from the plums. Zippy, yet perceptually sweet.
The astringency from the grape skins is woven together with salty clay in a way I can only describe as mega tasty. – Revel Cider Co.
