No Place Like Moutere is a brand new dry-hopped lager, brewed exclusively for the Carwyn Cellars x NZ Hops Great Brew Challenge.
We have created a simple yet tremendously drinkable base lager using predominantly German pilsner malt, wheat and a sprinkling of Munich malt. The body is light but smooth, with a light breadiness coming through.
Upfront, we have a gentle but noticeable grapefruit bitterness, which pleasantly melts as each sip develops. We have dry-hopped at a moderately high level with Moutere to provide notes of soft orange citrus, elderflower, and grapefruit. The finish is clean with a light bitterness that is ultimately refreshing. – Range Brewing
