a double mashed imperial stout aged in bourbon barrels and aged on videri cocoa nibs and ceylon cinnamon. We hear you like thick imperial stouty stouts? Could it be true? We certainly hope so. The Veil made us believers. So I guess you could say we do too. Speaking of The Veil, we made this beer with them. They showed us the path to ethereal thickness. Though true to our being, we mashed this monster with local barley malt and corrupted it from there with an absurd blend of caramel and chocolate malts. We did this four times to fill up one tank. As in, two mashes per day. We’ve never done that before. This is certainly the biggest, most luxurious and thickest imperial stout we have ever made. It’s time to make some new friends. This one was definitely brewed “for the share”.
Originally brewed and released in January of 2019, a portion of …for the share, this extra thick imperial stout has spent the past 18 months slumbering in bourbon barrels.
