Our Raspberry Stout is made with cacao and fresh raspberries from the Derwent Valley, north of Hobart. Chocolate malt combined with de-husked roasted malt gives a smooth backbone to which 40kg of raspberries and a bag full of cacao were added and left to ponder their own fate before we lovingly transferred and carbonated. The resulting robust stout exhibits strong dark chocolate character with fresh raspberry notes and a slight tartness. – Last Rites
