Fox Friday is a Tasmanian brewery that first appeared back in 2016 before being taken over by Benn and Sarah Hooper in 2019. They still call Hobart home, but they’re now also brewing and pouring beers in Melbourne (and soon to be Perth). Making a name for themselves in the last few years after being some of the first in the state to really push into the world of highly hopped, hazy, higher ABV IPAs. Really leaning in to their motto of “Live Everyday Like It’s Friday.”

They’ve replaced the small kit they inherited with an impressive 15 hectolitre brewhouse designed to ensure they’re able to release beers – on a Friday of course – at a speed that would have terrified Australia’s early craft brewers and dazzled its drinkers.

Truck ‘n Trailer is a collab with one of our favourite breweries from the West Coast, Rocky Ridge. It’s a huge Triple Red IPA, perfect for this time of year. A mix of Simcoe, Amarillo, Citra, Columbus, and Cryo Citra hops levelled out by Pale, Maris Otter, Vienna, Medium Crystal, Carared, and Carafa Special II malts.

Bursting with hop flavour, with plenty of malt to back it up. Chewy toffee flavours with a bit of pine and resin bitterness. Considering it’s coming in at 10.4% the alcohol is really well integrated.
