Adam’s Evening is a collective of four Yarra Valley folks; Oliver Johns whose family owns the orchard in Yering where the ciders are grown and made, Sally and Tom Belford of Bobar wines in nearby Yarra Glen who are mad for fermenting, and Jaime Spies, the artist and designer who gives the bottles their distinctive style.
We draw heavily from what we have learnt from the exciting and vibrant natural wine scene; the honesty, vitality and simplicity. We don’t add yeasts, enzymes, sugar, acids or water. The ciders are not heated or cooled, filtered or fined. We aim to make nuanced and complex ciders but mostly want them to be tasty and moreish. – Adam’s Evening
