The Other Right are a family owned and operated wine producer from the Adelaide Hills. Their grapes are sourced from around the Adelaide Hills with the exception of their Shiraz which is wild-grown and foraged. They use the bare minimum tools, equipment, techniques and such, paying extra attention to detail, and working to the natural rhythm of the wine and the process. Their aim is to showcase it’s youth and freshness, forming a wine that is wild, vigorous and full of life.
Skin-contact Sémillon, 2 weeks on skins, aged in old French barrels for 9 months élevage, then rested in the bottle for another 6 months. Takes a moment to open up, then thrives into quince, crème fraiche, slight oaky tones (despite the barrels being over 10 years old), obligatory white flowers and lemon rind.
