Tempranillo from the majestic amphitheater vineyard in Hope Forest, Adelaide Hills. This beautiful North-East facing, sloped vineyard is farmed organically by David Gartelmann. The vines there thrive on a mixture of clay, alluvial rocks & sand.
The grapes are hand-picked & carbonically macerated for a week, then crushed & left for a day & pressed the following morning. The juice is then reductively fermented in stainless & barriques. – Producers notes
