Fin Wines is a fermentation collective, based in the Yarra Valley, producing natural wines and ciders with an emphasis on drinkability and sustainability. They produce young, super drinkable wines using lo-fi methods.
2023 Goth Juice is a blend of equal parts Sezão and Shiraz, with a touch of Petit Verdot. A mixture of Yarra Valley and Nagambie fruit. The varietals are fermented separately in open top fermenters and gently hand plunged over a period 8 -10 days. Then blended and aged in old oak for 8 months.
This wine is full of berry fruit flavours right up top, the shiraz provides a solid base of blackcurrant, blackberries and a hint of licorice. With the Sezão bringing a lively acidity as well as doubling down on those blackberry and plum notes. Rounded up by the touch of petit verdot adding a slight floral and earth finish.
