A real change in attitude here compared to 2020: Camphor right out on the nose with hints of
strawberries from the forest. A sweet bouquet that already anticipates substance, not playfulness. The first sip is rusty, flinty, calmly fluid. The salt progressively emerges and brings out new sensations, showing a mosaic at its core composed of white peaches, hibiscus and roses. The finish is deep and grounded, with superior tannins. Not as clean and clear as previously, this year’s wine has a decadent soul. There is a bourgeois element to this Fuoripista, a certainty and material side that has not emerged in the last vintages, without losing its signature serenity. – Suppliers notes
