This wine is made from direct press Chardonnay from Alice’s vines in the “en Poussot” vineyard (where the soils are rich with limestone) which is quite close to the central Jura village of Arbois.
The grapes were crushed and the juice transferred to a fibreglass tank where the natural fermentation using indigenous yeasts took place.
The wine matured in the tank for 8 months before it was bottled without the addition of any sulphites. The result is a beautiful wine that is non-oxidative and very fresh. It is a delightful wine. – Suppliers Notes
