Organically farmed Roussanne from Tooperang, Fleurieu Peninsula. Hand-picked and de-stemmed whole berries straight into barrel and fermented on skins for 3.5 months. Pressed to old French barrique and topped with a little Savagnin. Racked and bottled with no additions. Super cool wine and a lot of fun making it. I wanted to play with ways and length of skin contact. Lovely aromatics of ginger and lemongrass. Savoury on the palate with powdery soft tannins. One barrel produced only. – Scintilla Wines
