Laureano Serres is considered one of Catalunya’s natural wine pioneers. It has always been essential to Laureano to farm organically. It was forgetting to add SO2 in the 2002 vintage that opened his mind to the possibilities of wines without additions. He now farms six hectares scattered around El Pinell and Terra Alta ranging from 170 to 500 metres above sea level.Alongside making delicious wine, Laureano is also a co-founder of the Brutal Wine Corporation and founded one of Europe’s most talked about wine fairs, H2O Vegetal where organic farmers and natural winemakers come from all over the world to taste and share their stories.
