Maison de Vigneron Rouge is made predominantly from a blend of Grenache and Syrah from the Vin de Pays de Vaucluse. Traditional Rhône-based viticulture is used. Grapes are put in fermentation vats that are cooled in order to slow the fermentation process and gain immediate fruit forward flavours. Maceration takes around 8 days before being pressing off to barrel. Instant first impressions are of a classic Rhône Valley red. A beautiful balance of earthy, spicy, savoury character and primary fruit flavours of raspberry and plum, all singing with that classic Rhône hallmark – the fruit of Grenache sprinkled with the spice of Syrah.
