Tim Ward, originally from Brisbane before moving down to Melbourne to pursue wine studies. After studying, he moved around the world working everywhere from Priorat in Spain, Hawkes Bay and Martinborough in New Zealand, St Estephe in Bordeaux, France and finally in the Yarra Valley in Victoria. He’s built himself a solid reputation for his pet nats.
2022 I’ll Fly Away Lambrusco Ancestral is once again a stunning, lively pet nat from Tim. Made with 100% Maestri from the Chalmers vineyard in Merbein, North West Victoria. Foot stomped for 4 days before being fermented. A deep purple colour with fresh bright intense fruity aromas, wonderfully contrasted by a dry, fun and funky palate.
