This three-acre, east-facing, fifteen-year-old site in Blewitt Springs is in its seventh year of organic management and is co-run by gun viticulturalist Fiona Wood. The soils are deep white sand over clay with schist. The fruit is destemmed and sits on skins for a day before being pressed to old 500-litre barrels to complete fermentation. At the behest of his artist son, James has returned to the original label design for this wine. – Suppliers notes
