For the coffee, we worked with our friends at Morning Roasting to find a bean and roast profile that would play well with the maple and chocolate. We went with Costa Rica Villa Sarchi that has big notes of chocolate and caramel. Instead of our usual mix of whole bean and cold brew coffee additions, we went with only whole beans to give as much aroma as we could! There’s better head retention this way too.
The beer is beautifully integrated with all of the adjuncts present and balanced. There’s a dense, creamy head that lingers. We’re thrilled with how this beer came together. – Third Moon Brewing
