This very special cider is the result of a collaboration between Willie Smith’s Cider Makers and Tasmania’s and one of the world’s best Whisky makers, Sullivans Cove Distillery. Careful maturation of our Huon Valley apple cider in Sullivans Cove Whisky Casks for 16 months has produced a cider that reflects meticulous integration of distinctive whisky notes and dry cider complexity. Reflecting the characteristically rustic oak forward style of Tasmanian Sullivans Cove Whisky, this cloudy cider is rich and arming with spicy vanilla and fruit aromas. It has a soft and textural palate and should be served at 8 degrees C for optimal enjoyment. Match with dried muscatels and mature cheese. (Producer’s notes)
