With a company motto of “Forever exploring. Forever evolving.”, Range’s modus operandi from the beginning has been to change up recipes with every brew. It’s not that they would never repeat a beer; but, they wanted to continuously produce fresh flavours. This has awarded them a cult following of beer lovers racing to get their hands on fresh, once of beers. On October 28, 2022, they graciously relented and introduced their first core range – or “Forever” beer – Disco. Which took five years and 600 variations. However they still pump out fresh single release beers every Friday.
The latest iteration by Range in their JAM series is a Blueberry and Blackcurrant kettle sour. Using a slightly different process this time round has allowed them to deliver a beer that’s got a bigger body and comes across as slightly sweeter than previous versions, with the same solid fruit acids cutting through.
