Burnleys consistency and grasp on old world and new world styles alike have made them a favourite here at Mr West for a while now. We were very happy to hear they were keen to collaborate with us on a beer, and it seemed obvious from the start that we would be capitalizing on their German brewing heritage. A delicate herbaceousness and minty character from the noble hops used is met with a biscuity, toffee-esque malt profile to make this beer immensely drinkable. The label, drawn by the talented artist Lily Parvati, was inspired by one of the classic Doppelbocks still on the market, Ayinger Celebrator.
