Boatrocker is a small, family owned and run brewery and distillery in Melbourne’s southeast. Boatrocker sets out to challenge the status quo of beers and spirits. Celebrating tradition while pushing the boundaries, finding new and exciting flavour profiles but never straying from our quality-driven values is what sets Boatrocker apart. Founded in 2009 by Matt & Andrea Houghton, Boatrocker has come a long way from its beginnings of selling its first beers from the back of their car.

It’s saying something when the Imperial Stout portion of a blended beer is the lower abv. Boatrocker have created a cult sensation with their yearly releases of barrel aged beers such as the Ramjet and Banshee. Now they’ve gone ahead and blended them together to create The Devil is in the Detail. The whisky notes from the 2024 Ramjet being softened out by the sweet sherry of the 2024 Banshee, with a touch of coconut and vanillin from the ex-American oak casks still coming through.
