Grown on the home block atop Lorimers Lane, on a south facing slope on the rockier part of our vineyard. Clay loams, red and yellow clay with layers of siltstone. Yielding 1.5 tonnes per acre this block produces fruit with a great concentration of flavour.
Handpicked then whole bunch pressed straight to old oak. Élevage on full ferment lees for 6 months with barrels topped weekly.
Bright citrus tones, grapefruit pith, green apple with notes of wild fennel. Nutty and textural. – Cré
