Lucy M Piccadilly Chardonnay 2020 vintage is 100% Chardonnay from The ‘Cemetery Block’ which is at the base of the Piccadilly Valley on Alluvial Black Sandy soil, the vines are cane pruned. This farm is run by Jenny and James Griggs who are the 6th generation to farm that block. The fruit is whole bunched pressed and fermented in 15-year-old 500 L barrels and aged on lees. The wine is only the free run fraction. Anton’s wines are made on the Lucy Margaux Farm in Basket Range, South Australia. Lucy M wines are made from organically farmed grapes, picked early for lower alcohol and vinified with zero additives. The wines change every year but one thing is constant: No additions, just grapes.
