Grenache gris, grenache blanc, chardonnay 8 months maceration in amphora – manual berry selection. This is a young masterpiece – exquisite in every way. As seems to be the case with this wine every year, the extended time on skins in the very lightly porous vessel has allowed the tannin chains to lengthen and drop out of the wine, for it to clarify naturally and for the final bottled wine to be an ultra defined and extremely high quality southern white wine. The structure is mineral, supple and broad and the fruit wonderfully complex. I’ll allow you to write your own tasting notes here but for me this is a detailed, meditative and serious bottle. – Campbell Burton
