The vintage 2019 has been truly wonderful for us: we harvested over 7 weeks in slow pace, giving us the opportunity to select more in the vineyards and be more precise in each step. It was also a late harvest, finishing in the end of October. Quantities were good but especially the intensity of the grapes was striking: more acidity, deeper phenolics and slightly higher alcohol, announce a 2019 for the aging cellar.
The last week of August was wet and hot so we decided to pick early in order to not lose brightness. Fermentation was regular, wines are crisp and fragrant. – Agricola Foradori
