This is 100% Sauvignon Blanc from Cargo Road vineyard at Orange. The grapes were destemmed (not crushed) and fermented in stainless steel. Three weeks of maceration on the skins and then pressed and aged in stainless steel. Such a strange wine for us, as there was very little pigeage/punching down during ferment. So it isn’t overly tannic and has none of the green notes that Sauvignon Blanc can give when on skins. Nice and light with a nice amount of grippy tannins. A wine for a warm Autumn day. – Frankly, this Wine Was Made By Bob
